Many of the classic rod makers designed rods that have never been surpassed in casting and
handling qualities. I have selected classic rod designs, modified them and combined them with modern innovations such as improved glues and fittings to create the best of the old and the new.
Bamboo rods can cast quite a bit of line in an experienced hand, but
I believe that the complete fishing experience is what most people are seeking, and
a new bamboo rod cannot be equaled in this regard. Fishing a new Brewer Bamboo Rod is a unique and satisfying experience.
Hand crafted from an organic material, no two of my bamboo rods are exactly alike. I split and hand plane the bamboo to make my blanks the old fashioned way, without modern power tools.
It takes longer to make a rod this way, but I think it's worth the extra effort.
